The first time i visited was actually on a university field trip a probably 25 years ago now, so way back. I think that experience of going in, it's like entering a room. It feels quite enclosed when you're inside the sto circle. You get this very different sense when you're in there. And it's a really small space as well. So that's unfortunately why, in e english heritage to look after the sight, can't let millions of people in there every year,. because it's just quite a small space and it's really fragile.
