What Is Design Justice?

Design justice is a framework for analysis about how design distributes benefits and burdens between various groups of people. In particular, design justice is a way to cuse explicitly on the ways that design can reproduce or challenge the matrix of domination. The term comes out of a community of practice called the design justice network. It also recognizes already existing community based, indigenous and diosperic design traditions and knowledge and practices.
