The Evolution of Drop Bears and Coalas
Both coalas and drop bears superficially resemble each other. Drop bearers are a rare mutation that occurs within coalas. It could explain why they weren't scientifically studied for so long. Some species have evolved to look like others as part of either an offensive or a defensive strategy.
