The paradox is that you can't realize this until you have one identity. You don't realize socializing and conditioning until you've already been socialized and conditioned so from a timing perspective there's no way around any of this stuff. I just read the book live wired by David Eagleman so that's very top of mind right now but i'm kind of testing everything against my own lived experience. There are all these biological correlates to things in psychology in terms of what's actually physically changing in the brain.
