The Advantages and Disadvantages of a Mono Repo

Some organizations have a microservices architecture, but they keep all of the source code in one place. And that has some advantages, and it does mean that it's sort of easier to, at development time, get an understanding of what the impact of changes might be. But it also has some disadvantages because you have this huge repo, and you were trying to get decoupled.
