What Is a Memory?
A human brain has something like 80 to a hundred pabillion nurons. That's a lot of neurons, or nerve cells. Each nuron makes connections to other nurons at things called synapses. And each huron, on average, connects to something like ten thousand other nurONs. There happen to be something like a quadrillion Synapes in the humans' brains.
