The Leprosy Bug Is Reversing the Developmental Clock

Researchers had a theory that if you introduced the bug to the liver and found a way to prevent it spread, then the bug would actually repair any liver damage. They knew this would work with mice, but the experiment wasn't ready for human testing yet. So they turned to one of the only other creatures they can catch leprosy, armadillos. The bad news is that the liver nearly doubled in size in one day. Even the researchers were a bit thrown off, calling the findings mind-blowing.
