Brutalism

Brutalism came from Beton Brute which is the French for raw concrete. New brutalism was just brutalism. There was no old brutalism. It started in Sweden or so it was called Nye Brutalism and then they sort of picked up that and ran with it. My favourite structure is the Pennine Tower at Lancaster Services. I love that structure so much. We had a table named after that. You'll definitely know it. Although if you do after two months just move to your swanky pad instead.
