I think the example you just bring up of the of the elevators is pretty telling, especially because I was a child who grew up. The problem that I see is how do we hire people with five to 10 years of experience? The starting jobs may be pressure on the strategy job. There are lots of fixes for this, but one that I point out in my book is going to something like the German system which uses half college and half internship.
