The Effect of Interest Rate Hikes on the Banking System
People I think are now realizing that interest rate hikes are easing. They're not a hiking of rates the way they used to be because now we pay interest on excess reserves. So every time the Fed hikes rates, they're actually lessening the condition for borrowing. That's an easing of conditions. And I think that's why everyone, you know, has bought the yield curve in the last month.
