Is Inflation Saying Hi?

After tax profits generated by the US operations of non financial companies in 2022 Q2 were 38% higher compared to 2019 Q4. American workers have been paid a slightly smaller share of the total value generated by corporations since the start of 2021 than they were in the years before the pandemic. And that's one of the reasons that inflation is staying high because corporations are doing way better than they say they are. Those jerks are holding profits.
