The Challenge of Sitting Face to Face

We had a topic that was just always leading to arguments and we were never getting anywhere. We decided to go to the library with computers in tow and let the other person talk. And while the other one wrote it down on their computer, if they started feeling really triggered by something that was being said, they had an opportunity instead of arguing or getting upset. The point was to read back to them what they had said to us until they agreed with it.
