Douglas Rushkoff: Intersectionist theory is based on the idea that we need to unlock interlocking oppressions in our society. He says it's never made explicit what this will do other than a vague assumption that universal justice is somewhere at the end road.Rushkoff: The presumption as I say is that all of these things will simultaneously be able to be unlocked. One of the things that's obvious now after trying this for a few years is that that's not the case, it keeps throwing up contradictions.
