Is Faith Crisis Contagious?
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has struggled in being honest. The church history had not been honest before, and that's a catalyst for faith crisis. Other catalysts are social issues like gay marriage or the coming out of family members who have to challenge doctrines they've always believed were true. A tragedy can also cause people to reexamine their own beliefs about what it means to be Mormon.
