Romanian Jewish Communists in the Early 50s and 60s
The Soviets often empowered aggrieved minorities by placing them in politically significant positions in Romania. In the immediate post-war period this often meant Jewish communists because Jews had not had an easy time in Romania during the war or even before the war really to say the least.
