Romanian Jewish Communists in the Early 50s and 60s

The Soviets often empowered aggrieved minorities by placing them in politically significant positions in Romania. In the immediate post-war period this often meant Jewish communists because Jews had not had an easy time in Romania during the war or even before the war really to say the least. This was a tactic by the Soviets it's why you see it repeated in several countries and why you saw similar tactics in European colonial governments around the world.
