The Silence of God in the Body of the Church
"Silence is the same thing. When there is silence for answers, we are adamant about receiving," he says. "When I feel God is silent, I need to transform my faith so that I can come to God as he is." We tend to only think of silence one dimensionally: This is when God isn't speaking to us,. But it's a little bit of a misnomer because God is always speaking, right? The church needs to begin to talk about God's silence as a form of communication and help people see that silence isn't God withdrawing, which is what I felt at some point in my life.
