Jerome wrote a defense of Mary's being perpetually a virgin. The church has always maintained that that means Adelphi relatives, not Adelphi siblings. Jesus entrusted us to his mother and entrusted his mother to us. And so here in the family of God, we get to rejoice and just be so grateful.
