How to Train a Dog to Succeed

I don't think trust alone will solve somethings like reactivity. Neither do i, because i don't think, in most cases, reactivity a complicated thing why,. There's a lot going on there. How do you become effective without training tools? I use leashes for safety, but not to teach behavior. In my mental model, any time the leash tightens, i did something wrong. That's howi to think.
