"We've been on quite a journey of thinking about what learning to learn means and what it is," he says. "Some of the some of the sort of you know the old guard and particularly the young old guard don't seem to have noticed that they just you know lose it" He adds: "I was a great fan of cramming in someone it was around but of course this interest in the process of learning and helping kids get better at the process oflearning wasn't new stuff"
