Is There a Sin or a Tension?
Temptation itself is not sin, it's what we do with that temptation. We can become overly focused on determining whether or not a sin has occurred. Sometimes you need to take the thing altogether in order to get a good sense of what's actually taking place. And then we move on from there seeking to cultivate dispositions which lead to true holiness.
