The History of the Comedy Boom

The first comedy boom in the 80s busted because of oversaturation. There became so many comedians that there was the supply far outweigh the demand. The good thing about social media and how it can be different from this first comedy boom is essentially everyone is their own TV now. But basically, I think we're in a boom right now I don't see it being a bust yet.
