The Work of Missions Is Best Done Through Regular Channels
The fear is, well, if we have these higher levels of government, they're going to come in and root around and find things and make life miserable. And that's not the way that biblical governance is set up. Things can only come to the attention of a higher through regular channels, and those who are spelled out in presbyterian constitutions. So i think it's a great balance of oversight without meddle in trying to micro manage the affairs that are best left to the local level.
