The Narviz Expedition

The last of the boats would be wrecked on their shores back in 1528. The Spaniards were supposedly so emaciated and weak that they did not even try to resist as the Indians killed them. So Cabeza de Vaca essentially joined the Mariamis, he would become a slave and was given to the man who kept Dorantes. They all agreed that they wanted to make a go for Spanish territory, but they could not just set off together at this time because they were slaves. But it should be very clear that if they were discovered, they would be killed, as others had before them. And we will find out when we wrap up these four men's story next
