If i'm rational and you are rational, then we're not going to go to war. But what if you're just a little bit crazy? Mc manis is one of a number of deterrence theorists who has thought about this possibility. By crazy, mc manis doesn't mean completely psychotic. She just means somewhat irrational. What if you really want certain things and are willing to pay an insanely high price to get those particular things? If you're a little bit crazy like that,then i'm rified because i really don't know whether you'd risk millions of dead to get what you want.
