The Headless Way

Fichta's work has parallels with that of buddhism. The idea of looking for the looker, you know, looking for what is looking or when you're thinking a thought, to try to look for the thinker. Some people in the buddhist tradition can give rise to feeling like they have no head. It might at first seem paradoxical to say that ficta, the philosopher of the self, is converging with the budd Buddhist point of view.
