I Am the Bread of Life

The Sermon on the Mount speaks to the modest, I love the picture of that. He's not interested in us giving him the menu we want for the day. Nobody ever asked for plain bread unless they're starving. So when we read bread, we think food. But we forget that there are multiple layers of meaning and that is very true in scripture.
