Planning as an Extended Model

I was thinking more specifically about and maybe it's appropriate to explain a little about planning as a extended quote unquote extended model. The basic idea there I take it is that we have this census, the Venetatis built into us on Christianity. And he describes the scenario where sin enters into the world and it's affected our sense of the divine. That's the basic story. So if we have religious diversity is already pretty much explained by these two mechanisms, then the question there would be like, so do we just get rid of that part of the story? What role then does the Holy Spirit play if he's not constantly repairing this so-called damaged cognitive faculty?
