The Role of Polarization in Political Discourse
I was like looking at some of the other ways that your research is moving right now and in some places you've mentioned that you're like thinking about propaganda. I think once upon a time perhaps there was a supposition that polarization too was the inevitable consequence of people being irrational but it's probably just not true what to do with this data. There are many different kinds of polarization so one kind can affect a polarization where what polarization means is like people hate each other's guts or another thing which is called belief polarization. It seems as though group formation is floating free of when we carefully use the word ideology but at least where that functions for policy preference or something like that definitely seems to
