I Love This Paper, the Physical Limits of Communication

i think about the, i love this paper, the physical limits of communication. A message transmitted with optimal efficiency over a channel of limited band is indistinguishable from random noise to a receiver who is unfamiliar with the language in which the message is written. They're basically saying we may be surrounded by optimally incrypted alien communication that we can't recognize. And so again, what does it mean to live in a world that might be more intentional, more artful, more meaningful than we're even capable of understanding? So, you know, a kind of epistemic humility is required here. But anyway, that's a lot of differet ideas, lots of loso cool ideas.
