The Interaction Between Medication and Psycho Social Support

The interaction between medication and psycho social support is complicated. There's usually some dose of medication that will make a patient stop doing dangerous and desruptive things. But this dose might not leave them very y or able to do anything at all. This forms a difficult and ethically questionable traid off. How do you balance the patient's own comfort with the comfort of the people around him who don't want him being disruptive?
