The Importance of Casual Pronunciation
In speech, we don't use as many words as we do say in writing. So I really want people to like really get that into your brain that the words that you're often going to find difficult are words that you know, they're not new words. It sounds kind of more squashed together and all the words are known words. Sometimes we may be only used to sort of core 1000, 2000, 3000 words of English. That's why I don't like reading in French because I see words that I don't know.
