Olympias was seen at the grave of the assassin putting garlands on it or something like that, decorating or honoring the grave of Pausanias later. The idea being that her status in the court had been very precarious. Philip also might have insulted her family. This family descended from Achilles. It was very proud in this ethical world where that was a very big deal.
