The Israeli Left's History
The Israeli left has a very clear trajectory and sort of intellectual history. The Israeli left used to be socialist. And then they built this incredibly planned and controlled economy because they really were East European socialists in many ways. We never fell into the Soviet orbit. But ideologically in terms of economic ideology and the vision of a just society, they were East European socialism.
