Migration and dispersal of a great many different ethnic and cultural groups would have brought them into contact with other cultures. This is what may have led to the development of the uniquely Greek way that we are all aware of today. In regards to agriculture, it appears that some sort of primitive filing was taking place in parts of Greece. At the French-Euthy cave site, evidence of this early form of agriculture is seen through the discovery of wild oats, barley and lentils. These domesticated crops were much more suited to agricultural activity since they had been purposely modified over time by humans to be of more use as a food source.
