Getting the Inflation Genie Back in the Bottle
I warned for a long time that the Fed should be careful for what it wishes for. If they end up overshooting out inflation, it's going to be much harder to bring the rate back down. The ECB was making the same mistake. They were saying that they wanted inflation to be too high because it was better than inflation being too low. I pointed out just how impossible it would be to put the inflation genie back in the bottle.
