The Rise of Thinly Traded Biotech Companies
It's unquestionably a concern. It creates all sorts of market inefficiencies that are for the most part not healthy for the sector. Anything that's going to further dry up liquidity, I don't think it can be viewed as anything close to good for the group. Mike Jeffries put out an interesting chart which looked at the top 15 biotech launches that have the potential to fill in pharma's $60-$80 billion patent cliff.
