The Samkhya Sutras and Their Commentaries

The Samkhya sutra, in fact, dates from as late as the 14th century. One dominant question is whether or not there is a self that underlies all cognition and experience. Within Buddhism, there are disagreements about how we can account for the apparent survival of one and the same person across time and even across incarnations.
