The Impact of the Fashion Industry on the Environment

The fashion industry is responsible from anywhere between four and eight per cent of total greenhouse gas emissions global. And it's really happening at this stage in the life cycle of our garment. All o those stages that i describe take enormous amounts of energy to perform each task. We're doing this in places, predominantly china, but elsewhere as well, but really predominantly coal based power grids. But don't kidd yourself that the vast majority of clothes will involve using up the planet in various ways.
