The Importance of Machines in Biotechnology
Biotechnology is still very reliant on nudging natural processes in a certain direction rather than having the equipment ourselves to like just make it with a machine. I think that's because I feel like people don't know how much we use living things, you know? A lot of our technology is making natural stuff do what we wanted to do. We're just trick or like genuinely alter genetically, you know, microbes to do it for us. But yeah, no, because of this process being so labor intensive and whatnot, it is kind of an issue, right? If you want to make anti-venoms for profit, that's rough, isn't it?
