The Difference Between Fiscal Federalism and Political Federalismos
Fiscal federalism is rarer, and you really only find it in its sort of full fledged form in three countries, canada, switzerland and the us. It basically decentralizes economic policy to the regional level. There seem to be lots of advantages to fiscal federalism, according to economists, but it's very rare in the real world. And my answer actually has to do with secession risk. O i'm where central governments are really worried that regions could use their economic powers to pursue an agenda of independence.
