The History of Pirates in Trinidad

In Trinidad, there must be local histories of pirates. You don't really get to think about the implications of what it is pirates were actually doing in real life and in real history. We're kind of like tucked next to Venezuela while the action was happening. So I guess with smuggling being like an economic factor than the chances of there being sort of pirates privateers involved is pretty high for sure.
