How to Take a Twitter Fast

I know you sort of quite often go on sort of Twitter fasts where you're not on Twitter for a long time. I've always wondered when you do that, how far back will you go through sort of at replies and things like that to see what you missed or who may have fired things at you? Do you think like anything more than a day old is lost forever? Or will you sit there and go through like a timeline for the last week or so and go, ah, there's something interesting there. That's a funny picture or will you just completely shun that stuff? Oh, no, forget it. I just I don't look in the past.
