The Importance of Gut Microbiome in B5 Deficiency

Gut bacteria can make pantothenic acid and some of them secrete it for use by other bacteria. Cells in the colon do possess a sodium dependent transporter that transports vitamin B5. Still, there's a very powerful argument to me against the microbiome being a major source in basically everyone that's ever been studied in the last 100 years.
