The Electron Transfer Process in the Intermembrane Space
What's been sucked up is essentially the hydrogen ions from the inner part of the thermodynamic to the intermembrane space. The electron then gets transferred across to cytochrome C. And is this where it's utilizing iron, the change in electrons in the ion? So, what is it? FE3+, FE2+ plus? FE2+.Yeah, so there's iron ions in complex three, cyto chrome C and complex four. They all use the iron to transfer the electrons.
