Coligula's Resurrection

In October of 37, just six months after rising to power, Coligula was struck down by a serious illness and nearly died. A few sources don't draw one-to-one causal link between the illness and the subsequent madness of Coligula's reign. Though he was emperor for just four years, that proved time enough to mark him as one of, if not the, most infamous ruler in Roman history. Incest, murder, rape and theft are all the calling cards of Coligulus.
