How to Avoid Booking on a Third Party Website
If you need to cancel your hotel reservation, if you go through Expedia or these third-party sites, they give you the run around. The same is true with airlines. I would never, ever, ever book any flights on a third party website. Always have to go direct to the airline. Hotels, on the other hand, there can be deals. But know that there is a cost that will come with it. Most of those sites, you're not going to earn hotel points or you's not going to earning status.
