The black panthers were among the first people to bring acupuncture, m asatherapy outside of the chinese community. They advocated for research on these issues that were really affecting this black community and did it in a way that was superaccessible. Am ended u focusing more of her energies with the young lords, which was kind of the portorican equivalent of the black panthers. She also helped write the patients bilum of rights, which we all have encountered at almost every place when we encounter health care.
