I think there were certainly individual issues when you looked at the crackdown that final weekend. If the objective is for police to remove protesters, then I think you're right that it's a fairly standard practice. The use of police on horseback, which is already a bit contentious, I don't think was done particularly well in that moment. And also some of the use of chemical irritants. So it wasn't quite nothing. But if we're talking about the continuum of what could be done about this thing, Surely a conversation would come before the emergency zacked and pepper spray and tear gas.
