The Positive Use Cases for AI
I think we've dwelled perhaps overly on the negative side of things. And I think it's probably unfair to, or it's impossible to fully interpret some of the comments that you're making without also factoring in the positive side of this. There are various people trying to apply language models and AI generally to solving specific problems with clear benefits. The kind of penicillin category is like kind of a discrete solution to an individual societal problem. Then there's the steam engine category of general productivity improvements which can speed up economic growth. Both of those are happening simultaneously with AI right now.
