The Purpose of a Notary

At communion we are remembering that it should be our body that was on the cross. But instead Jesus takes a step in and says no, it's mine. And so as we break that bread, that's what we're remembering. It should be my body broken. But instead there's a substitute. Wine represents the blood of Christ. When he pours out that wine and says, this is my blood of the new covenant, you are personally known to me. To say, this is good. This is good. Yes, I know this man. I know this woman. And yes, they are broken and full of sin, but yes, my sacrifice is real and good and perfect
